Begonia Santa Barbara is a half-hardy perennial that produces a mounted semi trailing habit making it the perfect plant for patio pots, hanging baskets and window boxes with summer colour that will last right through to the first frost of autumn. With its dainty arching habit of white flowers tinted pale pink on the out petals making it beautifully stand out against its dense dark green foliage. This variety is best grown in sun or shade making a versatile addition to the garden. Height and Spread:40cm (16”). Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Try the sweet tasting petals on top of salads or even pancakes, crystallise them for use as cake decorations too. Begonia plugs can be planted straight into Flower Pouches™, but are best potted on first and grown on in bright, frost-free conditions if to be displayed in baskets, window boxes or pots.
