Globe Artichoke 'Green Globe Improved' has delicious hearts which are best enjoyed when pickled, and its leaves are edible too. Its unusual look and stunning colour makes it a lovely, interesting addition to a vegetable plot which is bound to catch the eye. Its thistle-like flowers emerge from June to September and attracts bees to the area, making it ideal for a wildlife garden.
