Bound in dark green decorated boards which have considerable signs of wear. The book consists of chapters on the various types of birds, their nests and eggs. and several full page coloured illustrations. Two of the illustrated pages are loose. One has a lot of small tears round its edge. The book has foxing, thumb-marking and discolouration on several of the pages and there are several cracked hinges. Nevertheless the text is bright , the illustrations nice and the book is completely readable.
