Jackdaw No. 12. A collection of contemporary documents compiled and edited by John Langdon-Davies. It outlines the development of the slave trade from 1503 to its abolition throughout the British Empire in 1833. The story is told through documents, cartoons, photographs and engravings. The documents show some signs of wear, creasing at corners, but appear unmarked; the outer card folder appears to have been repaired.
