14th June 2014 was the publication day for Tom Wall's book 'The Singular Stiperstones' which was launchedwith a party at Snailbeach Village Hall, Shropshire. In his introduction to the book Tom quotes the geologist Roderick Murchison (from: The Silurian System (1839)) who remarked:There is not perhaps, a more singular feature in the physical geography of England than the Stiper Stones. 'The Singular Stiperstones' is the product of some 13 years work and brought to fruition since Toms retirement in 2010 after nearly 25 years as Warden of The Stiperstones National Nature Reserve.
