An exhibition produced by Liz Nicol, 'The Rubber Band Project' was showcased in the Aspex Gallery Portsmouth from September-November 1997. Using a technique named by William Talbot called photogenic drawings, Liz Nicol produced a series of artworks from rubber bands found both around her home and outside while dropping her son, Charlie, at school. This book shows both colour pictures of the artwork, as well as text explaining the theory of the exhibition and what drove the artist to produce this unique work. The Rubber Band Project by Liz Nicol. Published by Liz Nicol in 1997. PP. 16. Paperback- condition: good, some scuff marks on the front and back cover, as well as some slight lifting of the edges of the cover, there is some glue residue and slight peeling of the front cover coming away from the pages, but none are loose, otherwise inside images and text are bright, clear and free of inscription.
