This is a record of the original Riley Motor Company and its wide range of beautifully made pre-war motor cars. The marque grew from the early interest in motors of the four sons of William Riley, a craftsman-engineer to the weaving industry, at the end of the nineteenth century. The fine competition record of Riley sports and racing models is well told and adds great interest to the book. Hardcover in unpriced dust jacket. Both book and jacket have a slight bump at head of spine. The spine of the book has a minor backward lean, and the boards are a little bowed. The contents of the book are bright and fresh, with no markings. The spine of the jacket has faded very slightly. The jacket is now in a removable protective cover. 272 pages, including index. Size 22.8 x 15.7 x 2.4 cm. If you would like to browse the other books our shop has available online, please click on our shop's name.
