This book is the second in a series that explores the history of the Bohemia (part of modern-day Czechia) from the earliest development of stone tools to the Roman Empire. This volume looks at the Neolithic age, also called the New Stone Age and covers a period from 12 thousand to 4 thousand years before the current era. The book begins with an introduction along with sources and chronology. The study then looks at developments such as settlements, crafts and ritual behavior. All of this is supported by detailed maps, illustrations and photographs. The book is in English, with a French summary in the back of the book. The book is in very good condition, with only minor marks on the external cover. Internally the pages are clean, the binding strong and the illustrations clear and colourful. A very interesting read for a fan of ancient human history or central European history.
