Include black and white illustrations. First editions published in 1905. The cloth-covered hardbacks are somewhat worn and discoloured but intact. The text blocks are intact but the gauze is exposed at the gutters of volume I. The rough-cut pages are tanned/spotted but otherwise unmarked apart from occasional pencil annotations plus annotations on the free front endpapers. Pages 215-230 of volume II are torn across but still firmly bound into the book. Each volume 15 x 23.3 x 3.5 cm. Volume I 295pp, volume II 307pp. Because of the weight the books will be sent by courier.
