A biography of the life and works of the painer Sir John Everett Millais by his son. Millais was an English painter and illustrator who was one of the founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. This is volume 2 only of an original 2 volume set. HB with blue boards with gilts. Boards generally good though with some marking on the reverse and occasional spots of wear on the corners. Gutters are weak. Owner's signature and subscription library stickers on inside front. No loose pages or other internal markings. Tear to frontispiece. One internal tape repair. Condition overall good/fair.
