Most of the contemporaneous reviewers placed The Fortunes of Nigel in the middle rank of the Waverley novels This is a complete 3 volume set of that first edition. Vol 1 (fair) has front board detached but present. Penciled seller message. Insides are clean and bright with no loose pages. Good to fair over all, would benefit from some restoration on the spines
