No Date, circa 1900-1920. Illustrated by Edward J. Detmold. Very good condition for presumed age. Brown cloth with gilt titles and illustration to front. Pictorial endpapers. 23 beautiful tipped-in colour plates with tissue-guards. Assumed 1st edition. Wear to bottom edge of spine. Wear along cover edges; a few small nicks at corners. Some foxing and browning, mostly to prelims. Spotting to front cover on left side and spine. Previous owners name written in pencil on reverse of free front endpaper. First tissue guard is bent at top right corner. Heavy foxing to fre front endpaper and minor foxing throughout.
