The defences are the most complete in England. The walls (which can still be traversed), are set up on high ramparts and to retain their principal gateways. Read more about the evidence that remains. A book that has been read, but is in good condition. Glaze pictorial cover. Some shelf-wear bumps and creases are evident e.g. scuff marks and slight staining, but no holes or tears. Binding has minimal wear. The pages are undamaged but may have some slight creasing but this is minimal. It is clean and bright inside with a little wear to edges. It contains many colour and black and white images. There is no owner inscription.
