A first edition of this book in which the author explores the aspect of creativity in various fields, looking to develop a general theory on the subject. The original dust jacket is protected by a plastic layer of plastic cover. The dustjacket has a number of closed tears to the spine and chips to the edges, although these have been well taped on the rear to not affect the look of the book. The chocolate boards underneath are in excellent condition with gilt titling to the spine. Inside, the pages are bright and clean, with solid binding. There is an inscription on the front matter reading. In addition to this publication, there are numerous newspaper cuttings relating to the author and his work, that are included for the buyer in this sale.
