The LED pendant Gaia - named after the Greek goddess of earth The Gaia LED pendant luminaire consists of two separate elements that overlap and seem to merge into one. Each element consists of five rectangles that form a cuboid. Natural cracks appear to have formed in some places, allowing the light to pass through. The fine beams of light hardly find their way into the room, so that subtle lighting is provided. The rectangles differ not only in colour, but also in size and orientation. This adds a little dynamism to the otherwise static luminaire. The designer Jean-François Crochet was inspired by the earth and the mountains when designing this lamp. This is reflected in the robust appearance, which is complemented by the hard edges, so that this luminaire appears as massive as the mountains in nature. Gaia is also the Greek goddess of earth, who arose from chaos and created the mountains. Energy efficiency class:A+
