Brown cloth with pictorial onlay to front and gilt titles and decoration to front and spine. Top edge gilt (now a little dulled), right hand and bottom edges roughly cut. Eight colour plates by Granville Fell, all present. Some of the plates show some light browning to perimeters, and pages adjacent to plates are also slightly browned - this includes the title page opposite the frontispiece. There are some minor marks on the cloth, and a little dulling to the cover illustration. The spine ends are slightly pushed. There is some browning to free endpapers, and the pages have a few occasional spots, but the contents are generally clean, with no scribbles or other markings. One page has a corner piece missing but there is no loss of text. 118 pages, plus publishers advertisements. Size 14.9 x 12 x 1.6 cm.
