A collection of illustrated stories from the publisher Dean & Son, from a variety of authors and illustrators. There is a colour frontispiece and one further colour plate; the other illustrations are all black & white in-text drawings. Hardcover with pictorial paper-covered boards and a red cloth spine. Externally very good, with no more than light wear. The pages have browned quite heavily, and there are a few spots generally to margins. There is an inscription (dated Christmas 1928) on the first page, but there are no scribbles or other markings in the book. Unpaginated. Size 24.4 x 18.3 x 1.6 cm.
