The expanse of sand and rocks in the foreground draws us forward to the island with bright blue skies and wispy clouds above. Amanda originally trained as a painter but followed a career as an architect, she then became a tutor and spent over ten years teaching in many aspects or art at Napier University, Edinburgh. Amanda now spends her time painting in her home studio, she works mainly in acrylic but likes to experiment in mixed media.
