Full title is: 'The Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments: translated out of the original tongues, and with the former translations diligently compared by His Majesty's Special Command. Appointed to be read in churches.' Printed at the University Press, Cambridge This lovely little bible has gilt spine titling and a tooled motif on the front cloth board. The boards are edged in brass, with a central brass clasp that is slightly out of line, but functions well. Slight scuff marks to the gilt-edged text-block.
