La Belle Étoile ceiling light - design by Adriano Rachele La Belle Étoile, "the beautiful star" is the name that the designer Adriano Rachele gave to his light. The light’s transparent white lampshade exudes grace and lightness and is reminiscent of the graceful movements of dancers with its curved plastic elements, which are made of transparent technopolymer with white stripes and a rim printed on it. These dancers were Rachele’s inspiration when he designed La Belle Étoile. One LED shines downwards, the second shines upwards and into the light. The lampshade and the ceiling canopy are connected by a patented magnet system: the lampshade can be removed in seconds, so that it can be cleaned away from the electrics. The lampshade design was made possible by the Cristalflex® material that was specially developed and patented by Slamp.
