Hikosaburô and Manzô, two Samurai exiled in the United States since the Meiji Restoration of 1868, make a living from their hunting in the territory of the Crow Indians. One of the men, Hikosaburô, comes to the aid of a woman, Running Deer, who is being chased by bounty hunters, but the Samurai find their trail. They are saved at the last minute by a group of Oglala warriors led by Crazy Horse. The Indian chief, fascinated by the combat technique of the two Samurai, invites them to join his camp to teach jujitsu to his men. This book is bound on the right hand edge. It is a book that has been read, but is in good condition. Glaze pictorial hardcover. Some shelf-wear bumps and creases to the dust jacket and paperback covers are evident e.g. scuff marks, but no holes or tears. Binding has minimal wear. The pages are undamaged but may have some slight creasing but this is minimal. It is clean and bright inside with a little wear to edges. It contains many black and white cartoon images (
