These brooms are made from shuro palm sheath at the Nagaike Mingeiten shop. Nagaike Mingeiten is in the old centre of the town of Uchiko in the Ehime interior, and works in the Iyo Hōki tradition. Assembled by hand using locally sourced bamboo and palm tree material, the brooms each have ties so they can be hung up. They are available in five different sizes, and are striking tools to be used in the home or garden, entirely made as they are from a unique combination of natural materials.
