Ted Kooser reflects on the aesthetic and poetic power Hickss work, while Jason Farago delves into Hickss incomparable eye for colour. Finally, a conversation between the artist and Monique Lévi-Strauss looks back to formative experiences from early in Hickss life and career. The book was published for an exhibition of the same title at the Joslyn Art Museum, Nebraska in 2016 and at the Textile Museum of Canada, Toronto in 2017.
