This watch shape is nicknamed by Seiko fans as aSamuraibecause of its angular shaped design which looks as if it were sliced by a Japanese Samurai sword. The dial of this design was influenced by a divers underwater view as the sun reflects and shines on the surface. The light blue coloured minute hand and scale on the bezel allows for high legibility in deep water.Professional Association of Diving Instructorsis printed on the silicone strap. It operates on an in-house mechanical 4R35 calibre movement, 40-hour power reserve, and is water resistant up to 200m. It has sapphire glass with a magnified date display. Powered by the automatic movement with 23 jewels and a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Presented on a blue rubber strap with traditional buckle. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass.
