Sustainable manufactured pendant Binky 290 with cardboard shade The shade of the Binky 290 pendant luminaire, a luminaire by Dutch design luminaire manufacturer Think Paper, consists of cardboard strips that have been glued together by hand to form a spiral shade. The waves of the cardboard create unique lighting effects and the shade with its countless shades of brown appears incredibly rich in contrast. A perfect pendant lamp for living areas where a cosy lighting atmosphere is desired. The luminaires from Think Paper are characterised by sustainable production. For example, the cardboard used for the shades is made from wood from responsibly managed forests, the glue used is 100% biodegradable and all the residues generated during production are 100% recyclable.
