Author P Dunn spent many years developing his theories of naval wargaming and presented, in this 1970 publication, a selection of rules that enable realistic battle and campaigns up to ''world war'' scale to be waged on all kinds of venues from a small ''map room'' up to the floor of the village hall! In eleven chapters a vast amount of information is conveyed and many scoring schemes are explored. Who knows whether any admirals-in-miniature emerged from their study of these pages in this pre-digital games era. Pages and spine in very good condition. Hard cover is unmarked but dust-jacket is a little faded and has some scoring.
