This is volume 2 of the Sauce guide to cocktails published only six months after volume 1. It contains more than 1000 cocktail recipes which are illustrated in full colour. In addition is explains how to shake, stir and blend classic and modern recipes, contains holiday cocktails, explains ingredients and contains over 160 new recipes. The author Simon Difford was lucky enough to be paid to trawl the world's bars researching the various Sauce publications. Other recipes are thanks to the many amateur cocktail makers and professional bartenders who have emailed him their suggestions. He aims to update the guide on a six-monthly basis thereby ensuring a vitality that sets it apart from traditional thomes on cocktails. The guide contains a special section on Rum, another on glassware as well as a helpful glossary of cocktail terms and their meanings at the back of the guide.
