First edition hardcover in dust jacket, not price clipped. Light grey cloth with black and pink vignette to front. Colour plates, plus black & white and black, pink & white drawings, all by Jean Primrose. The corners of the book are a little bumped and the spine has a forward lean. There is some spotting around the edges of the boards and the textblock, and the cloth shows some further light browning elsewhere. Internally there is some very light spotting to opening and closing pages. There is a gift inscription (not from the author) plus an owner's name on the verso of the ffep, but no other markings. The jacket is pretty well spotted, and there are some stains around the spine, which is itself also faded. There are also some bumps and nicks along edges. The jacket is now however in a removable protective cover. Overall good minus. 97 pages. Size 23.6 x 15.8 x 1.5 cm.
