A very interesting and unusual publication from the Mid-Nineties, this is "A Century of Song", consisting of "A medley of styles in popular music since 1900", namely nine songs that nominally have words and music by the book's author, Kent (Bromley)-based Roy Dean (plus piano arrangements by Janet Bishop), although Dean wrote them in the traditions of popular music of the Early 20C, and sometimes borrowed lyrics from poetical, etc., sources ...
