Electric locomotive Ae 3/610664 of Swiss Federal Railways.The electric locomotives of the series AE 3/6were purchased from 1921 to 1929 in several orders. The locomotive 10664 originates from the factory halls of the SLM and the BBC. Due to the long procurement time, technical innovations were also built in. As a result, the power of the locomotives increased from 1,450 kW to 1,600 kW. Thanks to the good operating characteristics even the highest speed could be increased. From 1929 onwards from 90 km/h to 100 km/h and for the stronger locomotives (from no. 10637) 1937, after adjustments to the axle bogie, to 110 km/h.The locomotive 10664, built in 1926, was based in the depots Bern, Zurich and Rohrschach.
