FARMERS TAP BRASS HOSE FITTING Most large sized garden taps with 3/4BSP stamped on them are referred to as "farmers taps", the 3/4 refers to the inlet size (where it screws into the wall fitting) , the 7/8BSP is the thread on the outlet where you connect your hose pipe.
