A good copy of a very scarce transcription of a Dublin diocesan manuscript. With Latin text, and according to the introduction, the book is not a register of any archbishop of Dublin, but is rather a book of legal forms compiled for the use of the officials of the Dublin metropolitan court. Crimson cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to the spine. An ex-library copy, but the only evidence of this is as shown in the photographs - two rather attractive Liverpool Libraries bookplates and a library barcode and "cancel" stamp on the flyleaf. The leaves are tanned, but free of annotations. Corners of boards are a little bumped, with some fraying.
