Ravilious & Co: The Pattern of Friendship - Andy Friend Andy Friend is the co-curator of the Towner Art Gallery's major touring exhibition 'Ravilious & Co' - this title accompanies that exhibition. Ravilious has really only recently been recognised as one of the most important British artists of the twentieth century - his watercolours and prints chiming with our appreciation of the mid-Century. He did, however, not work in isolation but within a network of friends and artists including Edward Bawden and Enid Marx. Friend tells the story of this group from their student days through to the Second World War.
