The official Raspberry Pi 5 enclosure is a further development of the Raspberry Pi 4 enclosure with a range of enhancements and thermal characteristics to take the base and peak power consumption of the Raspberry Pi 5 into account.The housing has a well-known, easy-to-mount snap-together design and now includes an internal PWM fan for the dedicated fan connector on the Raspberry Pi 5. Heatsink are included in the delivery. Ventilation openings in the bottom and a narrow gap below the cover also ensure an unhindered air flow. This combination of active and passive thermal measures ensures that your board remains cool even in the most demanding projects.When you remove the cover, you will find the removable clear fan insert that contains cutouts for access to the GPIO pins and corner slots for securing spacers.
