This is a marvellous example of the rare 1950s Midwinter Stylecraft Umbrella Bowl - I think from the Dotty Domino collection from 1953. The chrome handle is detachable and in excellent condition with both the original little screw and washer attached. The lovely bowl is in mint condition and looks as though it hasn't been used with no cracks or chips. The makers mark is clear on the underside 'Midwinter Stylecraft Staffordshire England FASHION SHAPE 8-59' along with the painter's marks. Very superficial crazing on the underside.
