The new Dash 4 Pro digital display unit from Race Technology offers a compact dash which is full of features. There are two display types available depending on the location required when fitting it, OLED and LCD. The OLED is best used when out of direct sunlight and has an ultra high contrast level while the LCD option is back lit and uses transflective technology for use in all levels of light. The unit itself is compact enough to be mounted on a steering wheel or alternatively on a flat panel or custom bracket giving plenty of mounting options.When connected to a DL1 data logger, the Dash 4 Pro is capable of displaying both predictive lap timing and live time slip, giving the driver a target to work to as well as providing real time feedback on performance. To provide a further graphical display of this, the shift lights can be configured to display the time slip by working on a green and red light system.
