RAAF Saga is the Christmas book for 1944. This volume is like a veteran 'gong' - winner with years of tough going and breathless incidents to draw from. The service and the blokes in it have been able to dig into this pile of gen. and present some amazing stories, pictures, poems, graphics and cartoons. Includes full colour illustrations as well as black and white illustrations and black and white photographs. Blue cloth covered with white printing to the front, the cloth does have some discolouration to to the edges and has some fraying to the bottom back right hand corner. It comes with it's original paper dust jacket which has been backed with plain paper and is in a plastic dustjacket saver to preserve it. There is paper loss which measures 2cm wide and 0.8cm at it's longest point to the bottom of the spine towards the back cover. There are some historic signs of damp including foxing, this mostly affects part of the front and back inner cover and the top of the page edges. B
