Experimenting and practical SMD-LED assortment in the single-chip design 2835 with a light yield of up to 55 lumen (color temperature dependent) as well as 30 cm flexible braids (ready-soldered). The 2835 is the new, trendy LED design for general lighting. This series is clearly Heller and even more efficient than the 3528 and 5050 designs, because a better heat dissipation in the SMD housing keeps the chip temperature down. This allows higher current to flow through the SMD LEDs at the same chip size without the chip temperature exceeding the critical limit. In order to achieve maximum light yield, the operating current may be up to 150 mA, to ensure WAS by current limitation measures (series resistor/constant current source).
