An upturned bowl-shaped lamp base designed by Claire in Bristol and hand turned in East Sussex using smaller pieces that remain from bigger projects. They come back to Bristol where they are oiled using teak oil and assembled with the lamp fitting components. This lamp base works well with Claire's 6" tube shade and her 8" retro shade giving the lamp an overall much shorter height allowing it to fit within a bookshelf. It features a brass switched bayonet bulb holder with an additional inline switch. Linen wrapped cable UK 3pin 3A fused earthed plug.
