Binding cracked at front, one page loose but otherwise sound. PP133-141 missing (December section of Almanac), hence condition downgraded to Fair. Fold out Frontispiece, 'Mrs Professor Fogey's Reading Class' (seaside scene) hand coloured (probably by the owner) . Numerous full page illustrations, and vignettes at the head of each section by Tenniel, Keene and Bennett. Two parts: pp1-141 has information useful to middle-class readers including lists of M.P.s and peers and adresses of Government offices and London banks, followed by an Almanac and diary (blank). Pp 142-192 contain humorous short stories and poems which are anonymous but presumably by Punch writers.
