Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, this watch design has been created in collaboration with thePorter Classicbrand, taking inspiration from the 'Laurel' - Seiko's, and Japan's, first ever wristwatch. Porter Classic is an inherently Japanese menswear label which shares core values with Seiko Presagepreserving Japanese craftsmanship whilst maximising modern technology and art; artisanal philosophies resulting in timeless designs. With a super-hard coating, the case design of this watch is inspired by the almost pocket-watch style of the 1913 Laurel. Under a box sapphire crystal glass, the black enamel dial features a subdial at 6 o'clock. The caseback features a silhouette of one of the Porter Classic founders, Katsuyuki Yoshida. Its accompanied by a slim, glossy black Cordovan leather strap, with an additional brown cordovan leather strap option within a special black stained Paulownia wooden box.
