I've lived in South Dakota for most of my life, and I still get my mail at an address just seven miles from where I was raised. But I love to travel, and as I've gotten older my travels have taken me farther and farther from home. Travel has proven to be the best education, and I am truly thankful for every day spent on the road. The watercolor and acrylic paintings featured in this book were completed between 2014-2018, depicting places and events happening in and around North and South Dakota. I've spent the last two years working as a teaching artist in both states during the school year, and in the summer months you'll find me selling paintings at art festivals throughout the Midwest.
