New 2023: For use on routes with a maximum wheel set load of 18 t, a total of 298 unit express train locomotives of the 03 series were built for the Deutsche Reichsbahn between 1930 and 1938. With the 03, such a machine rolls into the PIKO range. The slim, high-lying boiler and the airy barrier frame with a clear view also characterize the silhouette of the machine in the model.
