The long history of Piccini has its roots in the heart of Chianti Classico. Here, in the shade of the hills, Angiolo Piccini founded a small winery in 1882. Since then, the company has carved out a prestigious position within the national and International wine scene. This red spends 8 months in oak barrel and 1 month in the bottle, developing deliciously aromatic flavours. It has an intense and persistent aroma with notes of wild red berries. On the palate the wine is well-structured, smooth and full bodied. It makes for an ideal accompaniment for spicy roasts, game and medium aged cheeses.
