Beaker by Dove Street Pottery Dove Street Pottery is made by David Worsley and his studio assistant Joseph Fuller. They make functional hand thrown tableware, primarily in dark glaze colours using a white stoneware clay. Both David and Joseph have a fine art background, David studied at the Royal College of Art and Joseph studied at the Ruskin school in Oxford. The tableware that is produced from their workshop in Shipley is meant to be approachable and useful. These beakers are in 4 different glaze colours and, aside from the obvious use as a drinking vessel, they also make great impromptu vases. Because all of the process of making these beakers is undertaken by hand, from throwing to glazing and finishing there are variations to the surface and shape of each piece. Each piece bears the impressed stamp for the pottery close to the base on the exterior of the beaker.
