With the Paris Nature mill, Peugeot is launching a new phase in its approach to continuous improvement in environmental protection. Like Peugeot's other wooden grinders, the body of the Paris Nature mill is turned, lacquered and assembled from PEFC-certified forests at the Peugeot factory in France. What makes it different? The 12 cm Paris Nature mill is made from wood that is normally discarded from the production cycle because it has visual irregularities. In order to recycle this wood, an original texture is obtained through radiation with crushed nutshells. This natural new texturing technique gives the mill a unique visual aspect and an incomparable rough touch. An ecological varnish of vegetable origin made of linseed oil and carnauba wax is then applied to protect the wood and ensure its durability and resistance.
