So Father Grand Tawny pays homage to 175 years of winemaking history. Crafted from a blend of Tawnies matured for an average of 10 years in Penfoldsoak Solera System which is housed beneath corrugated iron. As you would expect it gets very hot in the peak of summer and pretty cold in the winter enriching and oxidising the wine massively. Much sweeter and much more concentrated than a Tawny Port of equivalent age this is a perfect gift for Dad (its calledFather) Christmas or any fortified wine lover.
