Scarce publication in the UK. 1970 reprint of 1965 original. Large format paperback quarter bound with blue cloth spine and blue paper covers. The spine is fragile with wear and chipping at the top and base. On the front is a white label with a small number written on it. On the back cover is a small chip in the centre of the long edge. The covers have light surface marking from handling and usage. Internally the text block is clean with no markings, the original stapled binding is sound. Published in several sections by the US Naval Oceanographic Office in response to demand for environmental oceanographic information.
