"Nothing but Horsesa Series of Essays on Horses and Their Waysa Horse Lovers Sketch Book" Kathleen Frances Wright Barker (1901-1963) was an illustrator and writer of books and for magazines about animals, especially dogs and horses, known for both her delicate and well-observed style, but also her love and deep knowledge for her subjects. Her work was produced for other authors, and for, among others, Country Life, Tailwagger, the Yorkshire Evening Post, and The Field. She also produced a fine edition of Anna Sewells equestrian classic, Black Beauty (1936). The book is in very good condition for its age.
