Dimmable designer floor lamp Drop_4 from next - made in Germany The series of lights from which the floor lamp model Drop_4 comes is called Liquid_Light. Both Liquid_Light and Drop are names which point to the shape of this series. All of these models are teardrop-shaped and look like “liquid light”. The floor lamp Drop_4 has has a body in the shape of a teardrop. It is made of polyethylene and completely encloses the light source. The result is a glare-free and softly scattered light. The brightness of the light can be regulated using a cable dimmer. The design office Hopf & Wortmann has designed the Liquid_Light series of lights for the German manufacturer. The lights are made exclusively in the company’s own production facilities in Cologne. The company next stands for “light cast into shape” as it describes its products in its own words.
